Hi everyone,

Who said travelling was easy? It took me over 24 hours to get from Tilba to Auckland, New Zealand. I made it, but my luggage didn't. Its still in Brisbane. They are still hopefull that it will arrive later today but I havent got any emotion or energy left.
First I got in big trouble with my Visa, I applied a long time ago and I got it and everything, I just never got the printable version and spend hours and lots of money on trying to track it down. No success.
So I left Tilba at 4:30 am yesterday to get at the airport in sydney 5 hours in advance to work out the visa problems and if not successful at that, to buy a ticket back to Oz (would need a return ticket to enter NZ on visitors visa)
Long story well, they first kept me waiting for an hour. Then rang the wrong immigration office. Then finally worked it out and I got accepted, then had to run off to domestic airport since I was flying via Brisbane. Then got 'randomly" selected to go through a special security check. GOD... Then everything seemed ok untill I learnt my flight was delayed, nearly two hours. So I knew I wouldnt make it on the last flight to NZ. But got transferred and made it, but bag probably wasnt and havent seen in since.
Spend hours at airport NZ waiting and filling out forms. Decided at 3 am that it wasnt worth taking a taxi in town by myself and pay for a bed that I wasnt going to get into untill 4 am. So I stayed at the airport, didnt sleep and finally here I am, in Auckland central, with no bags but they will be send later today. Aged 15 years over night but I feel happy, it this was the worst day of my life it seems I can live with that.
So that was all the moaning you are gonna get out of me. Just wanted to share it with you. Tomorrow, I will be on the bus to Opotiki. A WWOOFF address. Get back to you soon!
